Day 10 - July 10

We attended church in the Freedom Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this morning with Ryan's parents and sister Meggan. The members were very friendly. Our boys got to be in the Junior Primary class - there were 6 children in that class. And the teacher spoiled them by taking them to the kitchen to eat an OREO. Sabrina got to introduce herself 4 different times during Sunday School because people kept coming in late. And then another 2 times during Young Women. During Sunday School, Malauna got to see that the Mothers' room was really a chair in a closet on the way into a very small bathroom, so instead she sat in the hall next to the Branch President's office reading the July Ensign. A member of the branch commented to her that his wife also doesn't like to use the Mothers' room. It was neat to meet the people that Elder and Sisters Gibby have been serving these past 10 months. After the meetings, there was a man at the exit giving away candy to all passers-by. (A highlight for Roderic and Hyrum.)

Outside their apartment.

After church we ate a delicious dinner and then went to the Arcade cemetery to visit some Gibby graves. We also got to take a picture at the house those Gibbys lived in, which now houses the Arcade Historical Society.

It was a 3 hour drive from Arcade to Kirtland, OH. We listened to several episodes of "Dramatized Church History." We saw the Isaac Morley Farm on our way into town and took a picture. The site was closed for the evening, so no tour.
